Up North Battle of the Bands is a music competition for the band, ensemble, and individual performer; all instruments, genres, and voices are welcome! Artists will have the opportunity to compete to win a cash prize. The proceeds of this event will go towards the Northwood School Music Department.

About the event
The Up North Battle of the Bands is a music competition based in Northern Wisconsin being hosted to raise money for the Northwood High School Music Department in Minong, Wisconsin. This event will take place on August 9, 2019, at 5:00 pm. All types of musicians and genres are welcome to compete: the only requirement is that the competitors must be in high school or older. There will be a panel of judges rating the performances throughout the event. At the end of the night, one group, or individual performer, will receive the grand prize: $200 cash. Everyone is welcome to come and be a part of the audience: admission is free! There will be food available for purchase during the event and donation spots set up around the area. We hope to see you there!
