ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE
Up North Battle of the Bands is a music competition that aims to bring all musicians and genres together into one spectacular, exciting event. All artists are invited to register to compete for a chance to win $200 dollars and experience what it is like to play with other musicians. Everyone is welcome to come and be a part of the audience: there is no cost of admission but donations can be made on the day of the event. We can't wait to see you there!
ABOUT US
My Story
My name is Margaret Howard and I am a senior at Northwood High School in Minong, Wisconsin. At my school, every senior is assigned a Senior Exit Project that must be completed before graduation. For my project, I decided to raise money for an organization I am very involved with and feel passionately about: the Northwood Music Department. Up North Battle of the Bands is a way to raise money for this department and to alert the public of the need and importance of music in everyone's lives. With the money from this event, I hope to renovate the band room and push funds into new music and instruments to help the development of the music department and to pull potential musicians into the mix. Thank you for supporting this event and for helping raise money for my music department.
